Quite busy with this melody generator recently! got to plan, solder, design and drill

left with less than 2 weeks to complete this 25% assignment. not an easy task seriously.

im really busy with school work recently. there are just way too many report/assignment to be completed, just when im about to graduate from SP! T.T almost every day of the coming week is deadline to something. got a presentation on Tuesday (Feel that its a waste of time), need to submit mechanics report on wed, Human Factor quiz to be completed by friday. melody box to be done ASAP.. too many things to be listed here.

Also, not forgetting to start revising for my final exams.. i think i will be screwed in this exams. FYP grade will be contributing into gpa + modules like Human Factor, Avionics and Organisational Management is going to bring me down. zzz.

went to my napfa retest last week. i did my very best but still canot make it. guess 17 weeks of bmt is inevitable for me... and i can considered myself lucky coz i dont have anything to worry when im inside. :)

started the first week of school with SP engineering show. we are happy that there were quite a number of people who were interested in our project! :) [though some thought that Aeronautical Engineering is related to Clean Energy. lol.] they were also impressed that our circuit can actually power all of USB devices and charge any smart phone. Made new friends there also. i must say it was a great and memorable event. ;)

*no offences.* but i felt that the industrial judging was not very fair to a certain extent. i dont see why a bought and ready to fly plane (meaning no machining of any parts was required.) with a camera installed below it for reconnaissance can win a silver. Not like the camera can provide live feed and can rotate around for better surveillance.

Anw, 2nd week of sch...

labeling of aircraft wires at Avionics lab. not tedious to label just 3 wires.

but, it would be tedious to label all the wires on board of the plane.

Mr Chua told us that the length of wires in a 747 is the dist from Singapore to KL. lol. just imagine the amount of time spent to label all of them.

Yay! we made it to the SP Engineering Show(+highlighted at T11). After 6 or more months of all our hard work.

Our project : Xtracycle. Basically making use of Eco-friendly energy(human pedal power).

not really related to Aeronautical, but its engineering still.

Made this acrylic HP casing this morning.

it can house Iphones, most androids.. ^^

The damn complicated electronics. a big thanks to Mr Caplin and WeiJun.
Mr Caplin helped us with designing of circuits.

and WeiJun for soldering and putting the parts tgt.

Not only we are charging the 2 6V batteries in series, the 6V batteries will in turn power up the USB to charge our phones via USB ports.

We are required to be in sch from 3rd to 7th Jan. this event will end damn late. this is so not good. T.T we need to be there frm morning till night. so to say, shift work is inevitable. x.x

And, im sry to say this, im someone with backbone. even without your help(or i should say all ur help is talking. NATO), im able to finish what im supposed to do. same goes to my buddies. this just reflects so damn badly on you dude. if i can, i'll seriously shout fuck you and punch in ur face.

Just a quick post.

FYP Overview. i would say its 75% done. :)

We designed and engineered this bicycle rack, pulley system, aluminium stand. Contacts were purely mechanical.

Its a dual function bicycle.

-charge phone (iPhones/Androids/whatever can be powered by USB) on the go

-to pump water from a well statically

FYP was kind successful until now. way to go! we cleared the stupid problems/mistakes one by one. SP Engineering Show is on the first week of school, hope everything will go smoothly!

Damn.. my interest for planes started too late, only until recently i started to read up and know more abt planes.

and something is still bothering me. should i or should i not... hmmm.... to be frank, i nvr dislike anything but just that the way u handle things seriously suck. im afraid that if i make the wrong choice, i'll regret for the next few years...

Anw, my last MST in SP was over. i think Mechanics 3 was quite manageable. however, aircraft system was not so.. too many Boeing-777 systems to memorize. or maybe i can put it in this way, i started my revision too late.. getting more and more slack as the years go. i started from studying 10days before exams (yr1) to 4-5days before exams(yr2) and finally 1-2days before exam.(current) lol. gg.

fyp is not done yet and SP Engineering Show is on first week of school. Need to go school and do more machining tml. x.x

i felt that im so lucky that i wasnt given the chance that time, seriously. phews~

Dad drove in to Malaysia to do some stuff today. of course, i tagged along.. i kind of like the environment there (though the weather is very much similar to sg). their pace of life is much much slower, everybody seemed to take life easier there.

How much i hope that i can take my life easier, in a much relaxing way. But no.., my first MST paper is on Tuesday. instead of studying, i went to Malaysia. LOL.

But im considered lucky coz i've gt only 2 papers this sem. they are Mechanics 3 and Aircraft System. damn, i gt 8 chapters (approx 150 pages)of Aircraft System to understand n memorise before Friday. and this paper stands a high weightage (30%).. Thats it if i did not do well for it. (No past year paper or whatsoever) God bless me!

Mechanics 3 is a lil headache for me as well. But im lucky to have a good tutor! to be frank, i learned everything from him, leaving almost 0% from lectures. -no offences- i tried to understand from lecture, but failed terribly.

Respect this guy "Mohr" for deriving and coming out with the stress and strain circle to solve mechanics problem.

cleared my Avionics soldering test this week. my thinning are not up to standard still! i dont know y thinning on the printed circuit board seemed to be much tougher than on the stripboards. coz i did quite well during the usual practice. But luckily, that circuit works! :)

gonna clear another CA on the coming friday. CSW letter writing. im always screwed by this type of language module.. as long as English comes in, i just cant do well.. :(

fyp is in a mess now. got a replacement centrifugal pump recently coz I broke the drum of previous one. Electronic parts blew. Not enough torque to drive the centrifugal pump. gonna get it all tidy up before uploading some photos of my fyp.

MST is coming in a week's time. need to study Aircraft system and Mechanics III soon. im damn worried coz its really not that easy.. though Dr Chong's tutorial was really helpful, i still cant really understand the problems.. if im given a chance, i think i'll salute Dr Chong as well. he is one of the lecturer that I respected very much.

Holidays is coming again! and.... this means, im much closer to be enlisted. im still contemplating if i should take up rsaf's scholarship.. im afraid that i cant endure the 6 yrs bond. im very glad that i've relative who are able to share their experiences and thoughts with me on this issue. very much appreciated! Thanks!

my first 2.4km run for this week. i still cant make it... damn.. my timing was 14m28s, and to think that my actual napfa is on 29 nov... i dont want to fail becoz of the fucking 2.4! T.T

i seriously have weak lungs and will power! i always felt that my lungs are rupturing after the 2.4. i need more training so that i can push myself to 11mins. im dying for a gold coz i dont want to go ns for 17 weeks and also sp is giving out this crumpler pouch ($40).

i foresee a busy week ahead. need to rush out a lot of things for fyp as the FINAL deadline is on 4 nov. and that will determine if my project will be highlighted on next yr's spinnovex. jy for the coming week!

just some updates of the things that happened in the week.

Dual LED Flasher.

the above circuit is dual LED flasher. lol. it might be simple for some, but not me. lol. took me quite sometime to fix this circuit up and to make it work. i think i only get the circuit right after my 5th or 6th attempt while people got it on the first attempt.. x.x more to come during Avionics lab. seriously salute those electrical engineer. connection is crucial here. even a small contact between 2 parts, the whole thing will not work..... lol.

My new bike is finally back. YES! that means i dont need to wait for a bus to mrt. i can better plan my time (to reach sch on time) and also save some money from bus fare.

saw this Dr martens on wed. im still thinking if i should buy or not.. reasons that make me hesitate.

First week of school :

lesson had alr started on the first week. nt very busy with the studies yet. haha! was told from friends from Avionics System was quite tough. but i felt that it is quite an interesting module. but whether can i do well or not is another thing. lol.

Some personal thoughts....

hmm, my fyp was shortlisted for SPinnovex, im happy. but supposed to be happier.... we didnt really get to prepare for the final selection on Friday. coz we only knew that we are shortlisted on monday, while others were informed on the previous wednesday by there supervisor. (somemore we were informed by our friend)

i was told that our supervisor OVERLOOKED and failed to inform us. when consulted, was uncertain abt the details of the selection though email was sent to him... seriously zzz... this really set me thinking if you are really into our project or not... we sourced everything ourselves, NO help was given at all. well, i should stop here (though i got a lot of things to say) before situation starts to turn nasty. i must say, this is my a personal view, no offences, no nothing.

-Yes, school is boring. but at least it kept me occupied.

School's starting in 2 days time. i didnt really enjoy much for this holiday. spent most of my time doing fyp in school. machining and machining! haha. time flies. im only left with 1 sem with my classmates and there we go. departing this 3 yr journey and move

on to our new life. everyone's going to NS. be it early or late enlistment. and after that to different path....

oh, besides spending time on fyp, i also spent quite a fair bit of time watching youtube's video. lol, needless to say, most of them are related to aircraft. lol. also not forgetting the Hk dramas like "Only You" and "The Rippling Blossom" on cable tv.

A simple circuit. with a 270 ohm resistor, big LED,and a switch

Soldered the components onto the strip board. Not an easy task when the solder iron is not hot enough!

With power supply, the LED lights! ^^

To be honest i was quite happy when the LED lights up. coz i spend a long time to solder the component (due to lousy solder iron) and i dont want my efforts to be wasted! lol. To me, i swear soldering the parts and make it work is much more tedious than connecting wires to the parts and make them work (like what most of us did in sec sch's physics lab.) ok, i think maybe coz i nvr once like electrical work. + things tend to go haywire when electrical work comes in.

i got 2 minor electrical burnt on my fingers. lol.

well, it might be a simple circuit but it took me quite sometime to understand it. T.T i managed to fix these component onto the stripboard and make it work with the help of jianwen.

He was super kind to help us with the electrical part of our fyp. he solved our problem with just a few simple component. and that made the USB port work and able to charge iphones/androids/USB charging phones. LOL. Salute to him man.

My aunt bought me this R8 model. lol. i think its damn cool. when the front wheels are depressed, they will make the unlock/lock car sound + front and back light toggle on and off.

well, i considered today's super short drive as my first solo. and thats after 302 days that i earn my license. lol. im seriously a loser, most of my friends who pass after me were also driving alr! and wtf am i still doing? T.T lol. i had been seeing a lot of familiar faces driving a car around lately. im even more tempted to drive after seeing all these! lol.

but... i guess i'll never have a chance to do so. lol.

our fyp presentation dont seemed to go well today. T.T the judges seemed to be more interested with the artefact rather than the presentation. lol. they say they like our project. *hard work pay off immediately* they praised us for our tidiness, compactness + task fulfillment. task fulfillment meaning with a generator + simple electronic circuits, we are able to make it charge our phone through USB. lol. seriously hope we are chosen for the exhibition!

of course, not forgetting to read up reviews abt model kits.. lol. found these 2 great kits from google. SUPER NICE! i like cargo planes. lol. dont know when will they be release again! gonna get both of them!

Damn busy with my fyp recently. yes, BUSY but fun! :) the reason y we were busy was we started late. And things are to be done by Monday~! its the selection day for next yr's exhibition. hopefully, we are chosen. coz i think entering the exhibition will make my portfolio stand out to a certain extent.. and hopefully it helps in applying for Uni. heard from friends that university's admission is open. im going to try and hope to secure myself a place in NTU's mechanical engineering. but how to apply? i have yet to find out..... and also i hope that there isnt too many 3.8 and abv people fighting with me! T.T

this is random, but i guess sometimes im just merely too lucky to certain things. too many people had alr surpassed me in all ways in life. damn, i felt jealous and very much of a loser . i cant seemed to excel in things i like, nt even one. for example, i think dancing is cool.. but i cant dance.. lol.. to add on, i only started to like aircraft lately, which brings me a lil help to my studies. + i could have tried for syfc (though i know i would most likely fail). it wouldnt be one of my biggest regret if i tried. zzz.

The past few days were the nights where i slept early in the holidays because of fyp meeting the next morning. lol. my team's fyp is in quite a bad state. electrical parts are giving my team a major headache. none of us can understand the damn electrical part. (the reason why i chosen aeronautical engineering instead of aerospace electronics) whereas, mechanical parts were quite nicely done i guess. a lil screwed here and there, nevertheless its solved.

personally, i felt that the school could have process the refund to the students faster. lol. the money spend on some of the necessary materials for the project may not be cheap, it can easily reach up to 200-300 sgd.

this holiday come n go super fast. i have hardly enjoy myself during the holidays. lol.

I felt damn jealous when i got to know some things. damn! life is unfair! but i believe i can earn it myself in the near future! i shall convert the jealousy into motivational force of mine. i know this makes me sound like a loser! ~.~

result released this morning. my result was unexpected but good. i thought my gpa would drop due to some "stunts" i played during the semester. im nt trying to boast abt my result btw. i was happy that i gotten 'A' for aircraft powerplant. which i think i screwed the final exam up for the uplift of fuel + the short answer question. i didnt expected that hydro-mechanical pump will come out + the calculation of uplift of fuel question is super tricky! lol.

Quality Engineering and Management was unexpected as well. i got a distinction for it. LOL! to think of it, i missed most of my fri's qem lecture. understanding nuts abt the ISO system + all the shitty quality management stuff.. phews...

and lastly. Aerospace materials was kind enough on me. i've got a 'B' for it. lol.i must say Materials studies are seriously for mad scientist, especially aviation material. not only u will need to memorise material's property and behaviours at different temperarures. U'll also required to understand how the material fail and the mode of failure. zzz..

Overall, i've done well for this sem!

life is just revolving around money. with money, almost everything is possible

like what my title says, i need funds to do a lot of things but i cant work this holiday! mainly due to the screwed fyp. need to rush the prototype out by 10th oct. hopefully its workable, and will enter SPinnovex. T.T

Priority List (More wants than needs):

1. $$ to buy FYP parts. $100 approx

2. Agnes B t-shirt .

3. 1 more Nudie jean. (exactly this model)

4. 2-3 more Aircraft model. (though i've got no more extra space to display)

5. Money for my travel plan next yr. (xiamen + bangkok? ^^) will do both if i gt the money.

-wanna have some sort of retreat before enlisted into the army......

i think this few items will total up to sgd$1500.

and.. i received the pre-enlistment letter. this is my source of "motivation". i cant play play anymore. had been FORCING myself to go train for 2.4 for the past 2 days. and the result was undesirable. i'll fail terribly and get myself enlisted 3 month extra if this continues... i need stamina!

and damn, i dont know whats wrong with the alignment. seems ok when preview but when posted.. zzz. Fuck up seriously..

Sem exams are finally over. this was supposed to mean 6 cool weeks of holiday for me (us). but again, im tied down with something that will affect my cert! time to embark myself into Fyp.. sian, busy n hectic life.

Life here is very much like in a simulation, where pace of every process is multiplied by a 100x. once the process dont help to solve thing fast enough, its considered nt feasible and O-U-T u go... zzz. this is one good example that i can think of.

and i received my 70% results of my aerospace materials. i got 50/70. i will barely meet A if i scored FULL marks for my test 2, which is unlikely to happen. actually, i dont have interest in studying materials. i feel that material study are for people who likes destruction. coz, we simply test the materials till failure occurs during lab...

i'll be damn busy for the next 3 weeks, preparing for my gg exams. sian.. no more gaming for me until 2 sept. i need to start studying and memorising 5 chapters of material tml! lol.

stats quiz killed me ytd. i dont think i can do well for it. to add on, i skipped stats lecture today again... wtf is happening to me?! i do things lethargically nowadays when i was once moderately hardworking. i used to clear project/assignment a few days before submission.. but now im still struggling with a few on hand when the deadlines are coming in fast.

Materials report are to be submitted by thurs 12 pm. and i have yet to do my part. T.T

and damn! it was a good chance today and i missed it. coz... im afraid that i'll fail. or rather i foreseen that i will fail. :(

things going haywired recently. and i think the cause of it is fyp... fyp is exhausting especially for wj, the brain of my team.

im very very lucky to clear my qem and materials..

i expected Ds for both module.. lol. my results are as follow.

im not trying to boast here. well, actually there is nothing i can be proud of. coz, most of my friends have my result or i should say way better marks than mine.. just wanna share but i think no one will bother with my results. lol. i need to work hard for sem exams for materials.. damn... its for sure going to pull like down like a dog.

and... i finally found something that i thought it was banned in singapore. lol. i found a scaled down version of a jet engine. the engine can churn out 15.7 lbs of thrust. but the engine cost almost 4k sgd. i thought of buying it... but.... where to find 4k? lol.. to think of it, im nt sure whether the engine can even propel itself... even if it can, how fast can it travel?

i saw some rc jet engine online which can propel a F16 at a max speed of 170mph. lol. i think that engine can at least churn 50lbs of thrust, 3 times more than the 4k sgd engine.. lol. I guess its a dream of mine to pilot that beautiful F16. but i know it will nvr come true.. T.T

finally done with the mid sem test.. and this time round.... sigh. i got zero confident in passing 2 papers. they are aerospace material and qem. seriously cant understand nuts abt quality management and the ISO 9001 clauses.

so i've cleared mst. Next up would be report for qem and simulator. then, some fyp thing which my group did not really started.. and lastly, report and presentation for materials... life is so fucked up recently.. different worries at different stages..

NAPFA test is coming up on November. this is also one of my many worries. lol. im afraid that i cant fucking clear it. AND i need to go in 2 mth earlier than others... till then life will be hell for me. i need to put a stop to my lazy streak and start training with my mates..

lol. this is something that i cant get over with.

lol. i dont know where can i vent my anger on... so, i guess this is the place...! had been trying very very hard to study all my work all over again. but still, i fail to understand anything. felt very much frustrated wasted the whole damn day.

After 14 yrs of schooling, i felt the most fucked up today..

among all the modules, i would rate aerospace materials to be most severe killer. Lecture notes are useless.... "selected slides" provides a lot of non related infos.. the lecture slides are ALL briefly summarized..... Next, quality engineering & management, all the quality control bullshit is making me crazy. i cant identify the ISO clause for nuts.. my prediction for my results are usually quite accurate. and i predict these 2 module are gonna get myself screwed this mst.

and.. i guess im having some weird oitp symptoms. lol. i seemed to be slacking all the while after i've returned from xiamen.... i seemed to lose a lot of things.. this is not good.. F. im tired of schooling.. but i hope and need to go u to fulfill my uncompleted "dreams".

lol.. i started to like aircraft after i went taeco for training, when i came in close contact with the real gas turbine engine. so i decided to build a few model planes for display. but... lol, its not easy to quit modelling once started. from then on, i had been building more n more planes, visiting the hobby shop more and more often. :/

School is getting really busy for me. A lot of assignment to be completed and hand in before the school starts in 3 weeks time.

my raptor! LOL. my number 8th model. it is currently under "modification" stage due to some unforeseen problems that took place. the most beautiful kit i've ever got.. yet.., the model wasnt build to my f15 or eurofighter's standard. :(

guess what! im planning to get F16 and F117 over the coming weekend. :x

and C17 2 months ltr. lol, C17 will probably make me broke. it will cost ard $70 according to the shop owner.

I want to learn how to paint them! be it hand paint or spray paint. i saw the u2 spyplane and the E2C hawkeye that were displayed in the model shop. it look damn realistic. i even took some photo of them.

I cant believe i actually sign up to go for the rsaf openhouse on 27 may. i hope to get rsaf's f15 or f16's display model there. LOL!

im back in Singapore for one week alr. and i miss the bbq food over at xiamen. super duper nice! actually, i miss quite a lot of things over there. weather, sightseeing..... i'll try to go back during this sept sem break! :D it will be wonderful if i can go back during summer season. i think there will be a lot of things for me to buy.

life in poly past hastily. im alr in my last year in poly. this means i need to do fyp.. lol. the deadline of applying fyp group is on 29 apr. but i've yet to find a teacher to guide us and my team had not come up with any idea for fyp. lol. hope that everything will turn out fine!

schooling is damn tiring. my third year schedule sucks. my tuesdays and thursdays are fully arranged. -.- from 8am to 6pm with one hour of lunch break in between. lol.

and..... stats is here again! LOL. i hope this stats wouldnt be as tough as diploma plus's. lol i got a D for my stats n prob in diploma plus. my diploma plus gpa is 2.846. lol! but i still considered as pass and im getting a PCEMS cert when i grad. :D HENG, nvr waste my parent's money.

im leaving xiamen in 2 more weeks! >< i guess im gonna miss this place, the weather, the food and lots of other thing... well, i shall come back here soon. :) hahaha. many people thought that china is nt really a nice place, but i doubt so.

FINALLY connected to the net successfully. the net over here suck big time. it takes a few minutes to load one page (sometimes cant even load). not only that, its troublesome to get connect to facebook over here.

for the eleven day that i had been in xiamen, i must say xiamen is quite a fun place. the food here are extraordinary nice. lol. ate quite alot here and that implied i've put on weight for sure.

im finally done with my exams. YES!

did fairly well for aeis on monday. acc was also well done ytd. and lastly, mech II excellent. i was still unsure of solving mechanics qns when i enter the exam hall. but somehow or rather, i managed to solve the qns during the exam. :D and they are nt easy. the qns set me thinking.

very excited to get my results coz i think i had done well for this sem! :) *hopefully nothing goes wrong!*except one module that will pull me down for sure. though i worked extra hard for this, its still a language module afterall. and language module will always pull me down without fail. ok, im being practical, i just pray for a B for rwp and i'll be thankful to god! hohoho.

Supposed to be HOLIDAYS for me. but.... lol, im going overseas for my itp. and im leaving tml morning. i nt sure that the internet connection there is stable anot. if its stable, i'll most probably blog as n when im free.

YES! today marks the last day of my diploma plus programme. :) it should be a happy day but... due to the fact that clearing the paper is a problem, it made me feel frightened as well. :/ stats was my last module for this programme. i dont know y i just cant seemed to understand stats. all the sampling of some manufacturing process. zZZ. ytd, i nearly went crazy trying to identify the types of question in the past yr paper, somemore no solutions provided. it will be a D- grade if i can clear this module. this totally sucks.

coming up next is AEIS. as usual, electrical modules are the fatal death of my grade. i hope there are no surprises coming up for this paper. else, im screwed.

rwp is gone for me.

i personally feel they shouldnt assign credits to lang and character development (in 1st yr)module. what they can do is to grade the students as failed, passed, merit or dist.

A tiring week for me. :/ lol. submitted the rwp report on monday. the most time consuming language module i took.

Things i did this week revolved ard catia and amp. catia assignment, practice catia and CATIA test. lol! catia took up ard 60% of my week. but... damn happy with the catia test. :) i managed to complete the paper and double checked my drawings. i think i might be able to get full marks for this paper. :D

did my amp test today. The result was super satisfying. i was only aiming for 75%. simply because that this was the mark i need to get A for amp. during the test, when i was only halfway through, most of my classmates completed the test. i was afraid that i couldnt finish the paper. when i finished and submitted, i saw 85 on my screen. ^^

lol. boaz had the same score as me. Anw, the class had done well also. good job! :)

As for now, i had alr cleared 3 modules which make up to 10 credits. rwp was the module that i didnt do well. :(

and i hope the "A" modules wont pull me down. "A"eis and "A"cc. -.- The Aircraft modules not only require us to understand the system, the infos are to be memorized as well. the electrical circuit and instrument of aircraft, the structure, built and repair of aircraft.

Boaz was kind to drive us to buy our safety boots. lol. bought the safety boots for the upcoming oitp.
14 more days to oitp. but i have not pack my luggage yet. :/ gonna be away from home for 1.5months. gonna stay in china with bros for 1.5months. i can foresee that i'll miss a lot of stuff in singapore. hahahaha.

didnt really workout recently and i gained some weight. :/ not only gaining weight, i can even do 5 chin ups. im back to where i started from. went to the chin up corner to do some chin ups before prob class. i only did 3 and.... lol. but boaz was improving.

attended my cousin's wedding lunch today. lol. im bored there but the food was rather ok for me. rwp was inside my head throughout the lunch. lol. gonna have this rwp assignment (ard 10%) on monday. i need to finish a report in 1hr 50mins. but.... i have yet to organise the points. and the prob retest on wed is killing me. i have not revise yet and i guess im going to fail again. wasted $110 for this diploma plus module.

on a lighter note, drove back home frm there. it was satisfactory. i guess there was a little improvement in my driving. but something seems wrong with my dad's car today. usually 3000rpm i can feel the force "pulling" the car forward. but just now i rev to 4000++rpm and the car dont seem to have that strength. lol.

i know this is random, but i seriously miss the life in malaysia at my aunt's cousin place.. its very much like kampong but nothing to worry about. i think i can survive there with a basic job. well, if i aim for that here, i guess im most likely going to die because of poverty.

A busy week for me. stayed back in sch almost everyday to complete this catia assignment. lol. the abv is the aircraft that i crafted out using catia, following step by step on the book.. LOL. its a tedious job to do(reading the book, hunting for the correct icon to use and so on..). but once, u know the method in "building" aircraft in software, it is quite a manageable task.

First week of sch. just one word to describe exhausting. trying my best to be attentive in lesson, but fail. lol, its always the case. :/ sem exams are coming in 8 weeks time? im nt sure. im alr feeling worried. coz most of the aero student screwed this sem up. lol. im hoping and praying for a 3.6 only. my gpa had been dropping n dropping.

the 4th day of driving. lol, i still cannot really cope with the speed of other drivers. ytd i was at lavender, i met this lj driver who horn me like he is rushing for hell. felt like winding the window down and.... lol. the space in the multi storey carpark was very limited and dark. + im a new driver, i need slightly longer time to clear the corner. he just cant fking see the P plate behind my dad's car.

anw, for the past 3 week, i enjoyed my holidays. be it slacking at home or going out. to be frank, im nt really ready for the new term. need to work hard again. T.T lol, and i need to get myself prepared for the re-test soon and hopefully, i will pass the retest.

went back to sch to submit the cheque for this march oitp. i need to pay $2625 for the trip. :/ hope i will learn a lot of things there.

The picture abv is the catia assignment that i need to complete and hand in on 7 jan before 2359. lol. to be frank, this isnt an easy job. starting from splitting the data in the merge cell on excel, inserting a negative sign for ALL the X coordinates (with my zero knowledge in excel, had to do it manually), next plotting the coordinates in catia, and lastly, crafting and smoothing the whole aerofoil. LOL.

this "simple" task took me ard 7hrs to progress till this stage. (+ im uncertain that this aerofoil i crafted was correct.) 2 words to summarize, tedious work. and my eyes are popping out soon.

i need my holidays!

Apart from these, aric also did me a great favour today. thanks! he managed to delete something that i dl ytd. i suspect the file is some sort of virus. had been trying to delete the file the whole of last night, but failed. lol.

watched tron with ives and aric. lol. when i was on my way to meet them, i check the review of the movie. it was 125mins long and rated 4stars.. before entering the cinema, aric asked me whats the duration of the movie, i told him 1hr 25mins. when we were walking to the theatre, aric saw that the movie was 125mins and he told me eh its 2hrs 5mins. then i realised..... LOL. i actually made this mistake of taking 1hr as 100mins.

ok, as for the movie, the only part i like was the way they fought for their survival and the "racing" part in the movie. all i can say was the movie is too futuristic.

my first time playing banana boat. lol. it was fun, but it would be better if its faster. haha. the waves over at port dickson were rough at that time. we didnt managed to go out far and the waves capsized the banana boat. my aunt's cousin only took a few shots for us before the ride. photos are still with my aunt.

after the ride, i wanted to build sandcastle with my young cousin, but my body are partly covered with itchy rashes. i dont know y, but i suspect that it was the seawater there. so i went to wash up instead.

bought some gift for myself also. lol, this time round, i classify it as Christmas gift. :)

got myself 1 tshirt, 1 leather belt, 1 small bag and 2 slipper. lol. the slipper dont seemed to be branded (the brand is rider. sold in the sports shop over there.), but it cost Rm50. bought it coz it was comfortable and light. LOL.

Went for the prob n stats make up class today. lol. not alot of people attended the class. all agreed to have it on today but.... lol.. and yeah. i gotten my prob's mst paper back. it was shockingly bad. lol. i only gt 25/100. i believe im the lowest in class. also went to buy probation plate today. i can FINALLY use it. ^^ but i wonder when will my dad allow me to drive his car. looking forward to that day! :)

Was still worrying for today's driving test last night. I did it! :D YAY! im legal to drive alr! ^^ did one circuit before the actual test. the performance during the practice wasnt good. during the practice, i didnt managed to go in vertical parking once. (but of coz didnt mount curb as well.) this affected me more or less, as it adds up to my nervousness.. but overall, i felt that im more steady n relax as compared to the previous one. at least, my legs didnt shake like crazy and everything goes smoothly today. Thank God! :)

but at first, i thought i gonna fail again, coz when the test ended, the tester said this. "eh ur driving skills are like S-H-I-T" lol, at that moment, all my mood just went off. and i thought i'll fail. when i went into the room to view my result, i was surprised and happy that i passed! :)

This is the best birthday gift i ever received. this gift cost me alot of $$ and lots of scolding from the instructor.

and i also fulfill one of my dream. it was to get license before i turn 19.. yay! im still 18, the very last day of my 18th year! :D

gonna go sch for a make up lesson for prob n stats tml. T.T i think i might be receiving a bad news tml.... Teo Ting Wei, u fail the prob n stats mst. lol.

Loads of my shoulders! test finally came to an end. AND here we go 3 weeks of holiday! :D

i guess i deserved a good rest after slogging 7 weeks of my life with busy sch schedule.

was super lucky to end aeis nicely. hahaha. i got 25/30. :D i nvr expected that i'll gt this result coz, electrical/electronic module nvr fail to screw me. + i nvr understand how electrical things function.

my second last paper was probability & statistics (on wed). this is totally gone. to be frank, out of the 4 qns, i can do only qns1 part1. LOL. im so rdy to be called in for the retest when new sch term starts. T.T i wonder how many marks will i get for the test, hopefully not single digit.

mechanics was ok for me. but damn, wasted a few marks due to carelessness. the question asked us to state the max bending moment (in bold somemore, according to friends) but dont know y i did not see this part. after the test while friends was asking ard "whats the max bending moment?" then i realised that i didnt even ans that qns. nice.

anw, went town for lunch with bros. lol. lunch was overall good except that the meat was a lil tough. The short walk down to killiney rd's singpost was accompanied with nice, hot supercar. i wondered what job do these people hold, coz they can rev their hot car down orchard n dont seemed to be rushing for time. i hope i can be one of them in the future. LOL.

Catia was on thurs. i didnt finish the paper. solid modelling took up most of my time. didnt have enough time to complete the designing qns. which is 35% of the paper. nice~ i wonder how much will i be given for my designing qns.

did a 25% mcq test for Aircraft maintenance practice (core module). not easy at all. coz for each of the qns asked, there might be more than one correct ans. -.- meaning if there are 2 correct ans and i only select one and i'll be mark as wrong. guess what, i only score 71 marks. there goes my core module. and i wonder how people score 90/100. wtf...

LOL. took a shot of my probability test. i fail this damn paper. wasted my fucking effort for copying formulae on the a4 size paper that im allowed to bring in. when the lecturer is reading out names of the failure, i hope i wasnt being call. but.... upon hearing my name, i totally blank out. however, lucky that this isnt counted in my gpa coz its dip plus. phew~

i need to buck up, else this sem will be screwed if i continue performing such stunts. :(

lol. tried to cook spaghetti for lunch today. :/ this is my first time doing so. and i failed to do it nicely. LOL. firstly, i didnt know that after peeling off the shell of the prawn, i canot soak them back into water to defrost them. secondly, my mum ask me to "bend" the uncooked spaghetti into the pot to allow it to be cook. i broke them into 2 insteading of bending.

lol. in the end, what i did to prepare my lunch was to take the hotdogs, crabstick n prawns out of the freezer. defrost them and wait for my mum to help me. lol~

i think the best thing i can cook for myself is maggie mee and other instant food. seriously. x.x

yup, but i didnt managed to catch any episode of it. coz i went to teach the kids. didnt managed to enjoy my slp, the breakfast, the tv show like the usual sunday. n i had a long ride to boon lay.

after im done with the teaching, went to cycle around my cousin's neighbourhood. i played kick scooter at first. :D though i didnt managed to cycle fast (was cycling with my young cousins), i still enjoy cycling. :) i tried the waveboard as well. but lol, the best that i did was to balance myself on the board, moving it really slowly and falling off the board in less than 10secs. :/ and i was grateful that my aunt cooked me lunch and dinner today. :)

yeah, guess what! i saw 2 supercar today. continental gt and 599. :D but the young driver inside these fierce machine were arrogant. when they know that i was looking at their car, they purposely rev it. no joke. :/ well, i took it as they are welcoming me and i love the incredible sound made by their w12 and v12 engine. :P

hmm.. sad to say, i guess i'll be as arrogant as them if i gt to own this car. and most likely i'll rev it as and when i feel like it. :x

however, i totally expected a C+ for fof. i screwed up most of the assignments. frm the mst, to flight test and lastly sem exam. :/ i would say mainly the sem exam (55%). coz i can only say im only confident for the 20 marks on the paper. damn myself for nt using the values given in the formula sheet. *actually i dont even know the value was given. everyone else saw it on the formula sheet, but i cant!* x.x

didnt managed to perform to my best. some of the major mistake i've made. car roll back when on slope. (was able to do it nicely during practice) my left leg shook like nobody's biz when doing half clutch on S. the car also shake coz the clutch was depress n release, depress n release. the main mistake i've made is not to check blindspot. :/ wasted 22 points there. else, i would have pass alr. oh fuck, i blown the dream of driving to east this sunday. :'(

however, in the circuit, everything was quite nicely done, the parking, S and crank course.

The first wed after my exam's week.

the cycle repeats, went back to boonlay to teach the kids again. ok, i shall summarise and make it short here. firstly, im damn tired travelling all the way there frm hg. next, after 1.5mth rest, much nth was change, still the same old pattern. the phrase "leopard cant change its spots" totally fitted the case i faced. was a lil delighted when i went to my cousin's hse to collect the mooncake. when i saw him, i straightaway pinch his cute little cheek. :) hee.

i was bored when i was on the way home. and my phone was running low batt. :/ surprised that 2 bar of batt can last me almost half a day. well, back then if its omnia, i think my phone will die long time ago alr. probably touch screen phone eats up more electricity bah. i nt sure.

23 sept

the last day of my mrt concession. :/ went to sp to check out some thing for my uncle. then head to boonlay to teach a kid again. lol. all the way there, but yeah. i've gt no complain for today. the kid im teaching today is very obedient and cute. when i ask her to do hw or practice qns, she will do it w/o any complain. she'll just finish the work fast and sweet. she's bright too. and she's cute becoz she's chubby and always uses the 傻傻 look to stare at me. LOL. from the start till now, she's the only student of mine that i havent scold yet. ok, nt even raising my voice to teach her. :) this is awesome.

and yeah, today's the first day i carried an umbrella when its raining. :/ but i feel a lil weird. coz, i usually wont use umbrella no matter how heavy the rain is. i'll rather be drenched or stay at home, coz i feel that umbrella is troublesome.

did circuit with manual car today. :/ lol. im damn noob. since the last 2 times driving auto car there, i've somehow "lost" control over the clutch today. a brief summary for today. the car rolled down the slope 2-3 times, i stalled the car 3-4times, hit the curb 2-3 times during the S and crank course. LOL. parking was ok today. im seriously damn worried for the tp now. :( H-O-W?!?!

went to changi village today. the dinner was nice and simple. ok, its nt simple, a lil oily here and there. :/was very full. i know im very much like a pig. feel like sitting down after the dinner. haha.

managed to see some planes going to land. and yeah, now then i realised that the sound of the aircraft's engine is sexy also. :D

(the last time was at boonlay, my aunt's hse.) sherman gave me a crash course and refreshed my mind on how to blade. his crash course was clear, i did fell down a few times nonetheless. and there was once i landed on my butt instead of falling forward. no doubt, its painful. *sherman was pushing me, giving me a higher moving speed but i panic and cant control my legs.* :/

supposed to go to boonlay to meet my mum n dad. but i was a lil lazy to go there, so had dinner with them. dinner was at chomp chomp. had fried oyster, hokkien prawn mee and a huge cup of sugar cane. and i had some durian dessert. thumbs up for the durian dessert. its nice. :) but quite ex. a small bowl for $4.50.

S-W-E-E-T! i finally finished ALL my papers. and i survived through. yay! :)

but well, this is how i feel for my exams. should be ok for all except fof. :/ and yes! i pass my math3 alr! (according to teacher) this means that i'll be able to skip 1 math module when i go uni. and my mum's $ isnt wasted. hahahahahahaha! nxt up in my mind is driving test. ahhhhh! scared. wish me luck. and aric was nice enough to wish my good luck for the test. :) and the paper crane too. :)

oh ya, i finally went into circuit le. im so damn broke now. spent $58 for today's lesson. haha. and i tried auto transmission car today. LOL. its easy compared to manual. NO clutch, NO engine stall, NO awkward pauses after the car come to a complete stop. and to drive off simply step on the acceleration pedal. im looking forward to drive my dad's car. :D excited~

Ok, today's crash course worked for me. i covered the entire Math3 syllabus in less than 4 hrs today with the a 60% help of friends. coz i only figure out how to do first order differential. lol. yeah, i know i wont be getting good results. but i SHOULD be able to pass the paper. coz i was worrying that i couldnt even pass the paper and i'll waste $200++ fees for the past 2 sem of my dip plus. coz once fail (no matter what sub), and im O-U-T. ~.~

YES LA. done with math3 and fof alr. i feel 100kg lighter. but sadly neither one will fetch me good grade.

woke up at ard 11. slacked to 12 before i started studying. i didnt managed to complete 1/7 of a chapter of Material. how great! it took me the whole day to do magnetic particles inspection. i still have 6 other inspection to go! D-I-E.

Are these two pictures nice? hahaha! this is actually the design of 2 shirt. with the help of lby, i bought these 2 threadless tees online. ok, actually, i havent transfer the money to him yet. :/ and i hope they will arrive before he go to jap for his study trip.! and sian, his flight is 5am in the morning! ahhhhhh!

chloe and hec came over to my hse today. wanted to play mahjong but short of 1 player. so we watch prestige instead. well, it is nt some new movie. but i didnt watch before. haha. ok, i shall say its a movie that i will nvr understand if i watch it alone. much similar to inception, i just cannot understand the storyline. a lot of explanations needed for me after the movie. during the movie, a lot of flashbacks here n there, repeated scenes, and its making me going round and round.

and yeah, mum cooked herbal chicken today. so i ask chloe n hec to join me for dinner since they are already at my hse. after dinner, continued watching the movie. and a video that was crazy. this guy, whom i guess is a math genius. he can do crazy stuffs. he did it mentally by multiplying a 3 digit no. to another 3 digit no. even faster than a calculator. he can also calculate out the ans the a square of a 5 digit number in less than 5mins? oh well, i guess if only i possess 10% of his intelligence, calculus would be nothing to me. by looking at the qns, i can just write down the ans straight. LOL.

i guess, nothing is ever built to last. not now, not in the future.

guess what. this was the first day that i woke up early during this holiday. lol. went to gym with wy, kh, jintai, jt's bro and leon. didnt expected that the gym will have a lot of people. lol. but anw, i think it worthwhile for me to wake up early for today's gym session. coz i think i did burn off some fats today. :D yay! haha. did quite a few sets of exercise to train abs. i wonder how long my passion for train my abs will last. :/ but my sit up still as weak as ever. LOL. i only did 15, then no strength alr. like that sure die!

ok, my jogging sucks also. ran 1.6km with weiyang. LOL! seriously cannot make it. it took me 10mins 35secs to complete 1.6km. WHAT THE..! this shows how weak am i. :( i think i need to have more training first before going for the fitness test in yr 3. coz i really dont want to go in earlier than others.. jiayou bah. :)

does it worth for me to fight for? i dont know.

had lobster porridge at a restaurant for dinner. i think quite nice. i like the food and the place there. :) lol. i like seafood! especially lobster, crayfish and prawn. ok, they more or less belong to the same family. haha. my 舅舅was like some usual customer there. :/ the waiter and waitress seems to know him. and we had this room with the karaoke set de. ok, i must say it isnt well utilised. everyone like shy shy dont dare to sing and that includes me. haha.

and i must say, i have enough of fun alr. i need to start studying tml. or else, im really going to down with the sem exams le.

accompanied jingyi to yog hq to collect some things. then headed off to airport for lunch and study. met up with hector in airport for lunch too. lol. studied one chapter of engineering design. lol. and the chapter was abt gears. :/ tiring!

intended to go to t3's viewing gallery hoping to view the planes. but sadly, it was on some renovation. so again, i didnt had a chance to see the plane. haha. before that, i went to test out my str on the punching thing. i was surprised. totally. i won my very first medal in my 19 yrs of life. lol! the rule to win a medal was to punch the thing and gt a score more than 700. LOL! my first try was 500+, sec was 640+, third was 680+ and my last try was 741. the highest score was 742. im just 2 pts away to set the high score!! AAHHHHHH!

after that went to have some dessert at crowne hotel again. LOL! super nice. :)

well. went to boonlay again. even during yog break. no choice uh, i need to $ to pay for the driving lessons. haha. i seriously hope that i can make it in just one time, else, i've gt no money to continue alr. haha. :P god bless me... :)

exam timetable is alr out. OMG! ineedtostudysoon....... had nt been really paying attention in class after mst break. :/ and math is the most jialat module for me. damn sian with the differential eqn and laplace eqn. nt even one tutorial was completed. GG. anw, relieved that i've only gt 5 papers for this sem exam. 1 had alr been tested which ended up in tragedy. and 1 more to come before the exam week starts.

busy week ahead! going to start studying soon and go gym with wy. hahaha! i wanna be lean again. i dont want to be fat. :D

reached home not long ago. :) had a fun day. met up with hec n chloe at sk to fly kite. :D i think im seriously addicted to flying kite alr. haha. i feel happy whenever the kite is being release and flying high. however there isnt much wind. i only had less than 10 attempts to fly the kite. haha. :/

went over to the airport. we decided to have our dinner there. had waraku's pasta. :) its nice and filling. after the dinner, went over to crowne hotel to have some cakes as dessert. wa, fattening stuffs. but i like. LOL. will post the photo once it is being uploaded. :) and surprisingly, after having so much for dinner n dessert, i only weigh 69.5kg only! :D

but didnt managed to go to the viewing tower to see how planes take off. this time round, what i wanna see is the flaps on the wing! i dont know why, but im interested in the flaps. :/

rot at home the whole day. LOL. wanted to revise through some module or at least some chapter. but i failed. didnt even have the mood to open up my notes and read it. :/ sian.. wasted one day of my life. lol.

and i feel damn fat today. sian. had mac's breakfast, chicken rice for lunch and KFC for dinner! LOL. like fastfood day for me. i seriously need some exercise alr. im fat! i wanna beef up my muscle! i guess my strength have alr dropped tremendously. its time for me to pump some iron. haha! ok, pump iron this phrase was initially dedicated to lewis. haha. but somehow it had turn into my catchphrase. :)
